I didn’t take a before picture without it but here was after. You just unplug the 7 way and add this harness in between. When your reverse lights come on it triggers the pod light.

Where did you get the harness?

Might also be nice to have one harness option for the light to come on when the headlights are on for those that want to use it as a chase light.

Obviously something that you'd have to switch out or remove when on-road vs off-road but maybe not a bad option for quick plug/play.

Pretty easy to get it off and on for when you need to use the hitch for towing?
Only bad part is the locking hitch pin. My key faces the same direction as the pin so I'd have to remove the 7 way to unlock it. It's just one bolt though and the Bronco tool kit has the correct socket. If you're going with a locking hitch pin get one with a key that is 90* from the pin.

For actual "chase lights", you do not want them down low. The purpose for them is for the vehicles behind you to see you in the heavy dusty conditions. A hitch mounted version is nearly useless.
Agreed!

There’s a bracket made to mount them in the spare tire. I’m leaning towards this area when my bronco arrives
