I had a 256GB USB drive and upgraded to a 512GB. Sync started indexing and completed within minutes (which is not correct) and then said the index was full and some items will not be available.

Anyone know how to clear the index?

Try this:

With the USB plugged in, go to settings on Synch. There should be a choice for “USB Drive.”

One of the two choices that appears (I think the second one) if you push it, then remove the USB, it erases the index and then re-indexes next time it’s put back.

This has always worked for me when I updated or added to the USB.

Many thanks---I will give it a try.

It worked...but didn't. The step you described cleared the index, but what I discovered is there is a limit of 50,000 for the index and a 512GB flash drive can hold more than that. I will have to change my stance and split my music library across a few 256GB drives.

Thanks again for the information!
