Just wanted to see if anytime had tried the Seasucker rotopax mounts at all.

I was looking at getting the BadassTents mounting option with one support on each side, but with either solution, youre limited to 3 gallons on each side, so there isn't an obvious benefit to running the one from BAT when it comes to capacity.

I'm just concerned whether hanging weight off the windows of the already questionably built MIC is the best option, so I figured I would ask for some opinions.

It would just be nice to be able to take them off when not in use as I would be using it only a few times a year where we would want to bring extra fuel with us.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts.

Just buy this and strap it on the spare tire, cheaper and possibly safer

Completely forgot about that option. Thanks for reminding me! I know they say to go up to 2.5 gallons for the mounts in the detail, but hopefully I could run two 3 gallons instead. Since I don't have 35s, that would help keep the weight on the tailgate down. Thoughts?

I have the Rock Slide rack and it's solid. I've never had it rotate, but if it does you can lower the pressure in your spare (assuming you have a compressor).
