Hey, I saw a few threads on coolant loss and I’m just wondering if anyone came up with a solution. I took my bronco to the dealer about two weeks ago and they kept it all day and did a pressure test and couldn’t find any leaks or any issues with the coolant cap. They said they want to bring it in and take apart the dash and see if any components they are leading to the issues?

The first time I noticed coolant loss was when I was driving home back around August 2025 and a block away from my home. My car started vibrating, and my dash started lighting up. I pulled over so that the coolant was low. After letting the car sit all day I added more. Three weeks ago I noticed my car started driving a little weird, and I checked my coolant and it was low again, so I added some more and took it to the dealer. I haven’t seen any leaks below my car before and after driving so I’m just checking to see if anybody has a resolution considering my three year 36,000 warranty bumper-to-bumper expires on February 13th this year.

If you're not getting the distinct smell of antifreeze in the cabin I'd doubt there's any issue under the dash. By chance did you check the oil for possible contamination?

The dealer has been doing my oil changes and haven’t mentioned any oil contaminants. I’m sure they would definitely to get that extra $$ lol

Unless they were looking for contamination I'm sure the tech just did a dump & fill then moved on to the next.

If they, or you, can't identify any obvious leaks I wouldn't rule out a bad head gasket.

They're the dealer, if they saw something, they're going to wait till it's more expensive to fix to even mention it, guaranteed.

I can't think of anything under / in the dash, that's going to cause a coolant leak other than the heater core.

If that was the problem you would notice it. Keep on them before the warrenty is up!!!

I'm interested how low coolant would cause vibrating, that wasn't followed by a significant thermal issue.
