Adjustable while totally connected. That's why I bought the teir 4 versions with Johnny Joints on either end. Realistically though, don't think I'll ever need to adjust until I get a real lift, longer travel coils, and larger tires. They do however flex great! 😎

going to place an order

If you have question on dropping the tank, let me know.

Above center of fuel tank is driver for fuel pump. Disconnect and start Bronco till it dies to bleed fuel pressure.
At front of tank is two fuel line disconnects.
Center top of tank is fuel pump connector.
Rear of tank is filler hose and vent connection.
Evap cannister is above rear of tank, pull passenger side connectors, 2 by frame.
Lower tank a few inches to get fuel pump electrical connector, mentioned earlier, and other side of evap hoses.
Drop tank and here are a few pics...

Just ordered the tier 4 rear track bar, code C4X4FB gets you a 5% discount. Excited to get this, way nicer than the RC version.

You removed the whole tank?? Couldn't just lower a little to reach the bolt?

You could try it, but think the tank would still be in the way.

Yes, not even in the same zip code... Core4x4 is good stuff.

I have the Core 4x4 track bar installed, and just ordered the rear link set. Did you need an alignment after installation of just the links? My suspension is otherwise stock SAS. Also curious if I can install without fully removing the fuel tank. Thanks!

Not necessarily. Only the front needs adjustment, the rear is a solid axle. That said as long as you set the length of the arms to the same length as the OEM ones you should be ok.
That said the rear track bar, if not properly adjusted, will have the rear diff shifted to one side or the other. The rear links if not adjusted could change pinion angle. Neither of these will wear tires but could cause other “issues”. So generally speaking, no you do not need an alignment.

As far as I know you do need to drop the tank to get that bolt out. Maybe someone else has figured out a work-a-round but I have not seen it yet. 😁

You buy a replacement bolt from the dealer before the installation. Remove the nut and cut the old bolt out. Reinstall with new bolt from the opposite direction.

Thanks Bikeric!!!! I was not sure if the bolt would be to long and hit the tank. I had not investigated this yet. 😁

I have not done the rear links, but I recall reading you need to remove the tank to install the upper link. You can work around the lower link with the bolt cutting / reversing method.

*Assuming "rear link set" is both lower and upper.
