Creative place to mount a single ARB air compressor?

Has anyone found a creative place to mount a single ARB air compressor? I have this one removed from the box:

Not sure how the plastic does with the heat of the compressor but is a neat use of space none the less.

I've been looking at this one, but cant seem to find where the hose coupler goes? Can you send a photo of the coupler?

The coupler stays on the compressor.. Here is a single compressor installed on our KR Off-Road mount. We left the caps on but the coupler will actually attach to the silver manifold cylinder as shown in your box.

Then for a switch we recommend using our plate (which also allows you to mount the coupler to the switch plate as well):

Fwiw, I’d stay away from unique, confined areas and put it under the hood where you don’t have to worry about overheating. Although mine’s a twin, concept is the same.

Saw one mounted inside the tailgate but cant find the link again. Anyone know where I can find this again? It wasn't in the spare, it was accessible from the inside.

Go under the hood. It's just wasted space otherwise. All the ones in the interior that space could be better used for other gear and a waste to put the compressor there.

I think it will fit in the passenger rear quarter panel, I fit a large inverter in there but I don't have a sub. I'd also want some added airflow for that location.

American adventure labs makes a mount for in the hump of the tailgate.

This didn't go well at all. It was a long time ago, but for whatever reason I ended up just getting the correct one and mounting under the hood. Another thing to note, I'd go with a dual compressor. The single I have takes forever to top off a tire from 25 up to 38 psi. Hope this helps!

Appreciate the follow up, I was hoping to save a few bucks as I’m sure you were, but looks like I gotta get a double.

I contemplated mounting it in an ammo can and bolting that to the frame where the stock exhaust was (I have aftermarket exhaust)

It was a lot more work than just buying and using the underwood mounts.
