Curious - Has anyone placed more than one order?

I've been hearing that new orders are being fulfilled before early res holder orders. Not sure how true this is but would not be surprised. Anyway, question is have any early res holders placed a separate, new order? Any thoughts or feedback? I'm contemplating placing a new order at a different dealership.

Got nothing to lose. I placed two orders when I thought my first wouldn’t be built until late 22. Very long list of orders and I was a late one. I placed a second order at a different dealer who thought he could get it built soon as long as no tow and a soft top. I got 2/7 build dates for both. I guess no one would switch to soft top at my first dealer.

Only reason I placed 2 orders was so I could drive the earlier soft top Bronco until I could get the 23MY with the mod top that I originally wanted.

I placed a second order last week on Friday. I honestly thought I would have it by February or March 2022 at the latest. I haven’t been scheduled yet though so I decided to go ahead and place the second order because I’ve been hearing about these nonres holders just placing an order and getting scheduled in a month. Probably won’t happen for me but it’s worth a shot. There’s nothing to lose for me in placing a second order or for the dealer.

I just did as well. I am a late reservation, 4/21 timestamp at Granger. I have requested a dealership transfer since middle of Oct. with no results to date. I asked my new dealership WTF and he had nothing for me except to put in a new order. I am a 2 door, so either way I am going to be waiting.

What is crazy is that there are some (me included) that ordered two early and got two early. I have no clue how it happened/why it happened. I understand that FEs were going to come no matter what, but there is no explanation why my Badlands Lux Tow MIC came a couple weeks after my FE.

Even the YouTubers dropped MIC to get theirs this year.


It seems more like a lottery than anything else.

Placed a second order in October at a much larger dealership 1200 miles from home. Same 2door order just different color. My original order went through a dealer which turns out to only be allowed 7 Broncos a year WTF right?. If I had known that to start I would've changed it right away. So should be interesting to see which one gets built first. Of course its a 2door so probably MY23 is what it is.

I have 3 orders total. One through Military Auto Source (would not recommend). A 2 dr badSas reserved 7/18/2020 and a third order 4 dr Black Diamond with soft top reserved 7/11/2021. Got a build date for the latter reservation almost a year after my original order. I’m sure it has to do with being a 4 dr and soft top.

Ya kinda sad isn't it only 7 ? Small Northern Michigan dealer really nice Dealership just too small. Only 200 miles from where they are building them wish I could just order from Ford and pick up in person avoid all this dealership games. That would make too much sense

Called around locally and tried to get info on their allocation. Not much luck. Then had a friend who knew the owner of a dealership. I was able to contact his son and we talked all things Ford. I have a few mustangs. He said my build would probably be a late '22 delivery if Ford had all the parts. He also agreed to MSRP.

I had two early reservations. Got my first Bronco in early August. Should get my second Monday or Tuesday. Both with deadly sins.
