Date on the WS doesn’t mean much. Only important dates on there is Blend.
The problem with our ability to instantaneously update information from Ford's various schedulers and trackers, is that we're lulled into the illusion that they are promises. My build date changed 4 times, like many people, some more, some less. They are schedules to help manufacture vehicles, and being on the schedule is certainly much better than not being scheduled, or not having a VIN. And even after being built, it can stay "in production" because something is missing (like my MIC top, waited 3 months after build) or currently like missing chips, and who knows what else, like shipping delays. At least in that case its almost built. The factory keeps running, which is good for the workers and for quality consistency. People here on this forum are frustrated, understandably, but I believe Ford is doing the best they can in the current world. I personally set my delivery estimations low (long) enough that I was pleasantly surprised when it was suddenly "built" and "shipped" and "delivered!" It was worth waiting for.
Mine was build 3/15. Just got an email this morning that it finally shipped. Expected 4/15-4/21 in South Florida
I got my built email from Ford on 4/1(3/29 blend) and just got my shipped email from them this morning. I've been tracking with CSX and the progress is slow but it's still scheduled to arrive 4/12-4/18. At least now it's out of Michigan and up to the rail/truck line to get it to my dealer.
The date at the bottom changes as it gets it gets reentered into ford's system....will keep getting changed until vehicle is in your possession
