Hey folks so I’m in dire need of advice on how to proceed with my current bronco situation hopefully I can get some tips or what not here. So my bronco finally arrived at the dealer this week…Finally after almost 2yrs. anxiously waiting for it. When I placed my order reservation last year I spoke on the phone and in person with the manager there and he assured me that he wouldn’t do any MARKUPS on my bronco if I ordered through them. (He wasn’t going to play those bullshit games other dealers were playing on bronco order holders). Would not give me a contract agreement because he said the dealer wasn’t doing them. After I repeatedly asked him for one on multiple occasions. All he did was signed the bronco order form and had me signed as well. Stating that I wasn’t going to pay any Markups at the time of purchase. I was going to pay msrp iWell it turns out that on the phone and when I went in there this week to pickup my bronco he did do a Markup of $7,400.

Ask to see the contracts to where you have to purchase the addons to the vechicle. Most of the will say this is optional and you don't have to pay for it.

What materials are they trying to markup? MSRP increases because of supply and demand to manufactures... for the most part*

Yup supply and demand that’s what they’re telling me. I told them that wasn’t my problem it’s between them and ford.

Call out the name of the dealer and manager you are talking to… bad press hurts even if it may not help you. This type of stuff gives the good dealers a bad wrap. Also helps the rest of us avoid them.
Dundee Ford in Duendee IL. The guys name is Michael Medina he’s the gm.

They’re telling me that the Markups are for supply and demand. But I haven’t really seen any contracts besides msrp invoice from the vehicle and some handwritten stuff with the final figure on it.

Whatever you do, don’t sign anything releasing the vehicle to them. If they pull this crap it needs to go against the allocation rules Ford set up. Whether it really matters- who knows?!?!?

@FordMotorCompany As a shareholder, I find this kind of sleazy behavior on the part of one of your dealers unacceptable. If FoMoCo doesn’t start following up the PR pronouncements with real action against these greedy “dealers” you will lose even more credibility with consumers.

That’s the dealer that FordBossMe works for on YouTube. Wonder if he can help.

I’ve already talked to them and they can’t help because every dealer in independently owned. I put a complain with them but all they can do is a slap on the wrist. This is exactly what a ford rep told me.

As you to provide written documentation of what they are charging you.
