Dealer question in the NY area.

Not that it's likely you'll venture way out on the Island, but MY experience (and a couple others) at Sayville Ford was not altogether pleasant. Even though I walked out with an MSRP deal, I was told that they 'have a policy' to mark up all orders $5K. And I'm aware of someone who paid a LOT more than that there.

The OG reservation holders at Sayville paid MSRP at Sayville thanks to @Biltwild . My BIL only paid 6K ADM on a Raptor..... The market sets the price for dealer "stock" units....

i actually went to the dealer near me in the Bronx yesterday cause a salesman said he’s taking orders. But I got bad vibes because I asked for something in writing about honoring msrp and he said there’s no need to cause they’ll honor it. Did you ask for that with Anthony at the dealer in Yonkers ? If so I’ll back out of the dealer in the Bronx and go to the yonker one.

I’d be ok with ADM on a stock vehicle, but was told that they had this ‘policy’ and he dared me to walk away. Despite other people’s experience and the fact that my nephew works there, he thought they could bully me.
Everyone else I’ve dealt with there has been helpful and true. If I could have avoided this one Finance Mgr, my overall experience would have been positive.

if you don't mind going up to brewster, i had the best car buying experience i've ever had there- no BS whatsoever- showed up, my vehicle was cleaned up and ready to go- i signed and drove away maybe took 5 or 10 minutes

No markup - honored the agreed upon price. Even the finance guy was nice to deal with.

does anybody have an experience with ordering a bronco from a dealer in NY? ive spoken to a few so far. smith cairns in yonkers, premier ford in brooklyn, and city world which is the closest to me but would like to know if i should steer away from one when the banks open

They are all the same. I usually buy from dealers who respond to me right away.

I've had good experiences with Hempstead Ford and Sayville Ford. Although Sayville charges over MSRP for vehicles. I'm sure Hempstead does also but i've only ever paid MSRP at Hempstead.

I actually reached out earlier to ask about the White 2 door BaseSquatch. Got as far as finding out that it was their demo and not for sale. Never got around to finding out prices. So I still don't have an answer on that, but at this point don't need to know. But for other's it'd be good to know.

+1 for Leo Kaytes in Warwick. Got mine at MRSP and pickup went quick and smooth. Also, an added bonus of a limited lifetime powertrain warranty is being offered by them that can be used at any Ford dealership.
