Correct, Eureka Dunes. That's inside DVNP, is there another area thats more specifically considered DV? I want to hit the southern end next time. Second stop was at Warm springs.

Eureka Valley is in the park but not in Death Valley proper. The vast majority of tourists stay on paved roads and visit the sand dunes in Death Valley. Those are nowhere near as impressive as the ones in Eureka Valley, but still can be very beautiful in the right lighting.

Thx. I look forward to coming back that way. I’ve been to coyote flat twice and want to see more of that area and a bit more north as well but it’s certainly a haul.

Dude, Steve crushed it. That Subaru seriously impressed me. Here it is in Lipincott Pass.

I had to spot him nearly the whole time to avoid sidewall damage, but it did very well. His biggest disadvantage was approach angle.

I got him out to Coyote Flats (Anza Borrego) in his Subie. I was in my 4Runner. Lots of scraping... He's (finally) thinking about a truck.

I think he mentioned you were considering an EOS Potable Water System? It's pretty epic, if I do say so myself. Exhaust move not a big deal...

Two NTC rotations myself with the CH-47D's. I never disliked going there. Years later ('14 and '17), I did some motorcycle riding throughout DV.

I assure you "going" there is better than "living" there. Freezing nights and 120 deg days. Stuck on base without a car...

I took my kids out there to see that night sky.... great memories.
