Those of you with better memories than me, please help me with remembering something. It seems right after launch and before accessories were released, Ford stated that accessories ordered with our Broncos would be Dealer installed at no installation charge. Is this right , or am I remembering wrong.

So, if I ordered them when I get a build date or do they already have to be ordered?

Some can be ordered once you have a VIN, such as a fold down table, door sills, etc. I was wondering if you already have the tow package ordered, can you order the brake controller as an accessory and have it installed free by dealer.

I'm not sure if this is still a thing
The Bronco specialist at my dealership, said to order accessories after you get a VIN and right before production.

You can order accessories through one of many dealerships, but I don’t know if your dealership will want to install (especially for free) if you didn’t purchase the accessories from him.

100% RIGHT. Now with that said what they actually do may be a different thing we’ve seen that happen a few times haven’t we.😞

There was supposed to be a installed price that you could add things, but right after they announced it we never heard about it again, I even tweeted at Mr Levine recently with no response, I imagine all the dealers pushed back saying they didn't want to be told what price to install stuff for that is less than regular shop rates, sucks for us. My dealer says they can't give me a price for install of things because they have no idea how long it will take to do each thing.......

The description for the tow package says "4-pin/7-pin wiring harness prewire" from the factory, if that helps. Or are you going to have the dealer install it? I would hope they'd install what the factory does. The accessory guide lists the trailer hitch assy, but says "Requires Trailer Hitch Wiring Harness (sold separately)." There's no wiring harness in the catalog, though.

it didn’t show available on the base model, I think it has something to do with the taillights being different on the Base model but I’m not for sure. I hope there is a plug and play option

Here you go, from Levit Town Ford Bronco accessories. It is 4 pin, not 4 & 7 pin like factory installed.

It's not the lights. I didn’t upgrade the lights on my BD and the b&p didn't default to anything when I added tow package.
