You have to shave off the little nub on the back of the lens so that it sits properly - otherwise the lens will stick out a bit

Oh. Hmm. The casing went on and it looks like it sealed tightly all around.

I did notice an angle, but when I compared it to one I hadn't flipped yet, that had an angle too. It looks the same, just flipped.

Guess I can see what it looks like later in darkness.

This was fantastic - thanks for seeing through to a solution! I selected a kit that has the SS3 as my combo, and one of the SS2's as my SAE fog... I'll be sure to flip the fog ones as I assemble. Greatly appreciate the work done; thank you!

ps - I have a million Allen keys, but for the life of me couldn't figure out which one goes in the back of these SS2's - until I realized it's a t10 torx... let my buffoonery be to your benefit!
