Added some Diode Dynaics SAE fog lights. Wired them to Aux Switch 2. Process was simple, worked great! I have found fog lights are the most needed auxiliary lighting in my use. I will probably add some spots and reverse lights, but these were the most important add on for me (so far). It took some 16ga wire, wire loom, zip ties and a few hand tools. Spent about an hour , but was being slow and careful. Light quality seems excellent, build quality was good, I will report back as I get some experience with them.

Looks good.
So Ford didn't leave the Fog Light Switch on the OEM Head Light Switch.
I was hoping I wouldn't have to use an Aux switch.

Will you have the mount available separately? I am not sure I need 6 lights in the bumper (also not sure I don't like them the way they are, but....). Will the mounts be left blank and then you cut them to fit the lights you want or will it be a complete unit?
Great question!

Yes, we will be offering our Bronco pocket bracket for sale individually. However, the bracket will be optimized for fitment with Diode Dynamics Stage Series products, in terms of the exact spacing in that fog pocket.

Any issues with water / fogging inside of your ridgid lights? Talking with a guy at the grocery store with a built F250, he hated the quality of the Rigid lights. 3 of the 6 had water in them.. and he already replaced two of them in less than a year.
No, never. That being said, I buy/sell vehicles every couple years so take that with a grain of salt. However I’ve had light bars and various LED pod lights from them and never had an issue.

I didn't even check :) The wiring was at the core support. I used aux 2 (to save the 30AMP circuit) and it was a breeze.

Any way you can make a Drawing showing the the way your routed the lines from the Aux wire to the DD light relay to the battery?
It would seem pretty simple to take a flat piece of metal and drill 4 holes in it to recess the light. Maybe in my mind its a lot more simple than it truly is.

Or, since this is pretty much a permanent MOD, maybe drill holes in the top lip of the bumper and just secure them there maybe?

I plan on doing something similar.

No way Ford would leave an unused fog light switch.

Good stuff! I have some DD and some Rigid and also some Quadratec branded lights. And the Q-Tec's are my favorites. Curious to see if they decide to play in the Bronco world.

Here in AZ, we really don't do fogs, we do driving lights, or floods and spots for night time offroading.

I'm in the commercial lighting industry, so I have some unique views on lighting and the ability to do some testing.

We're glad to have you here and to hear you're running our products!

For anyone interested in learning more about our beam pattern options for on-road use, off-road use, and TIR (total internal reflection) optics. Here is a great video to checkout!

It's important to note, this video hasn't been updated to include our recently released combo optic. Our combo optic combines our flood and driving beam pattern.

No relay required. I used the powered/fused 15amp circuit on the #2 switch. Ran my own twisted two conductor wire in loom next to other factory harnesses and terminated the positive at the provide core support wire. I ran the ground up to the factory battery ground (following a factory wire) and tied wrapped everything up neatly. Pretty simple.
- Tons of space to do something different with a bracket. You have three bolts and lots of room behind. My son and I mocked up several locations and where we put them was satisfactory. If I don’t like it, the DD plugs are simple to use and I will fan something else (or use the DD mount when it comes out).

John C. Your videos were super helpful in making my decision. So far I am impressed with the quality. The cut off is really sharp and the pattern excellent. The picture doesn’t do them justice, it was angled slightly to the garage and still pretty light out. If they last (no indication they won’t) . I will be a long time customer!

If you use the auxiliary wiring there's already a relay in the circuit, I believe. Certainly enough for some lights.

I assume there is a relay, the harness comes off the power distribution box, I just meant no additional relay required.

Looks good. Also looks like they stick out a bit from the bumper? Might go for a circular light to match the headlamps. Thanks for sharing

I'm currently exploring circular options myself because i want the shape to match. Just not a good amount of round fog light options out there. Too old school i guess.
