Do I have Wireless charging??

Noticed on our new Bronco there's a little Battery with a Lightning bolt on the pad in front of the shifter, put my phone on it but nothing happens. I didn't think the Mid package had Wireless Charging but this makes me wonder, re-checked my window sticker and no mention. I have a '24 BD 2 Dr with 2.7l and Mid package anybody know if I have it?

That's what I thought, I wonder why they put the charging pad in.

I don't have it in my 21 Wildtrak "High" package. But my son's Bronco Sport Badlands has it and it's nearly useless unless you remove your phone from it's charger. And it's slow. In fact, if you are running google maps, you might still drain the phone faster than charge it. There are aftermarket ones Bronco that work better and charge faster. Mabett makes a good one for $90 on Amazon.

The fastest way to charge your phone is to use the 12V cigarette lighter port with a high quality USB-C adapter and good cable. That will go faster than using the USB-C ports in the Bronco.

Somewhere along the way, someone posted a 3D printed block that holds a MagSafe Charge pad and fits in the center console. You can plug it in in the console (handy because it's also lockable if running topless/doorless). I'd bet this is a better solution (faster) than the wireless charger included in the Lux pkg.

Well that sucks my GMC wireless charger is great and charges the phone up nicely when I forget to charge it.

I'm good not going to mess with it was just curious why I have the charge pad if there is no charger underneath, just doesn't make sense!

I watched some videos on upgrading the charger and it looks like if you don't have wireless charging there is just flat under the charge pad. If you do have it there's the square where the charging hardware is. I pulled the rubber pad up and I have the square so I'll now need to pull the center console up to see if it's just a blank or an actual charger.
