Except that the conversion rate is up to 49% now, and is still going up...and reservations almost assuredly topped 200k; so a realistic minimum of 100k orders in. Then in MY22, Ford is likely mixing in stock units and slow rolling limited availability items...so that equals no realistic chance they build the reservations all in 6 months.

My error-I missed the 49% update from @XCR440. So using @shoelessjoe and assuming the conversion is on the full 200K ( including cancellations prior to 1/19/21 :

Around 700 a day between 2 shifts.

200K x 49% =98K
98K / 700 daily builds = 140 days
So-7 months ( 5 day work weeks at full at full speed )

But a stock unit shouldn't go before an ordered unit (ignoring constraints of course). So the ordered units will not be slowed by stock production.

They “shouldn’t”, that’s true. Ford has said they won’t in MY21...they didn’t say they wouldn’t in MY22 and that seemed to be deliberate.

Absolutely true by the letter. I'm going to take a chance and believe that Mama Ford is going to go by the meaning though. Dealers however, yeah, near zero trust. Trustworthy dealers here know that I am not speaking about them.
