The update is it didn’t get resolved. They pulled up my vin and it doesn’t show up as an update. I asked them if they could pull up the vin of a 2024 on their lot, hook up the computer to my truck using that vin and find the update. Is that what they did for you - pulled up the vin for a different truck that came from the factory with the feature?

If someone has had this done that can literally lay out step by step what has to be done if you own a 2022 two door and it doesn’t show up as an update for your own vin, I’d appreciate it.

I’ve not found a good dealer in DFW. The problem I find, much like most everywhere else in life these days, is companies that don’t have good training or employees that are passionate enthusiasts about their products. Just a bunch of people collecting a paycheck trying to get through the day.
I think you have to bring it in and have them try FDRS and see if the update populates. Mine worked on a 23 2 door.

I agree, just in it for the paycheck! most all of them in this industry now it seems.

Correct. If the update is not shown in FDRS, it is not available. FDRS is the only way to see if a potential update is available.

Agreed; this is why the dealership claimed they could not apply it to my 2022.

I was running the available updates for modules while I had FDRS hooked up, a couple of them were for Driver and Passenger door modules. I didn't think anything of it, I've ran similar updates before and never noticed a difference.

This morning I unlocked my doors and the windows rolled down about 1/2" to prevent the window from catching and flopping on the seal. It was nice for the first time in 2 years to not have my door feel like something was broken as I opened it. It actually feels like a regular car door now!

So if you hate window flop, ask your dealer to run door module updates next time you have it in for service. This is the dealer software, not Forscan.

Can you confirm what version of the door modules was installed? Took my car to the dealer for other service and asked them to install this. The repair report states that they installed "driver/passenger door module software level 0.90", which does jack shit. When I press unlock on the key fob absolutely nothing happens. This is on a 23 BD 4dr 4A.

I had my 2022 4Dr Black Diamond at my dealership for service a month ago and requested these SW updates specifically. They told me there were no DDM or PDM updates available :(
