Today I had a fun drive. It’s been raining like mad for a few days. The trails sure took a beating and some really precarious washout slopes but the Bronco is really amazingly capable.

Got myself stuck in this mud hole so glad self recovery is a option.

I also came across this young man in his lifted Mustang rally thing. He slid into a washout and needed recovering. Winch to the rescue again.

Lastly I came across some jeeps with one having no throttle response after a water crossing. I could not help other than helping dry out the air box and draining the intake tube and some wisdom. They had all they needed to get out to the hard road so I came home and washed up.
Great day today with the Bronco down here in FL.

It’s not often I remember to take any pics. Enjoy.

I 100% take my hat off as a sign of respect for whoever did the lifted Mustang! I’m sorry, but that is pure Joe Dirt cool!

Life’s a garden, dig it!!

Is there a std recovery point on a Mustang or something owner added on or . . . just kind of wondering how and where you attach the winch line.

Hard for me to tell as a 3rd party from the pic, but looks like he installed a hitch receiver?

I know there are other options, I had to have tow hooks for the track and actually mounted one in the front under the grill and one in the back up under the license plate. Both were direct drill through the metal crash bar… that was a fun project lol. Then a hook can screw into either one. They require it at most tracks because if you run off they need to be able to recover you.

Any more pics of the Stang?
Sorry no. I should have got a front pic. He had a raptor bumper on it and a hood with a nice intake built in. It was pretty cool.

Where were you at? Citrus WMA, Richloam, etc? We just arrived home this evening after nine days in Moab. I’ll be posting some pics when I get a chance.

He had a woefully under sized receiver hitch installed. The tiny class 1 size but it was enough to attach the soft shackle around. He was pivoted into a washout so it did not need much to pull him back on level ground.

Haha yeah not today however I did recover an adventure motorcycle stuck in the mud on a different day. The winch has been very handy.
