Just got my 2022 OBX Sas 4 door hardtop 2 weeks ago.

So far, love it.

First post here and I have searched / read first.

Out of the box...

  • Drivers door, unless mindfully closed hard, will only latch on the top half of the door or somethign like this. When this happens, there is a big widening gap towards the bottom 1/2 of the door and the top seems normal. This is not good, as this is an annoyance everytime I get out of the car. I do not have easy access to a dealer for the repair but may ultimately end up there. See 3 photos below.

Anyone experience this and knows how to resolve the above issue?

  • Wind noise over the passenger seat. Very annoying and loud. I have read the threads and it looks like I'll dig in and have to do a repair my new, expensive Bronco. I see a deep gap between the 2 roof panels in the center. I suspect that wind is catching in here.
  • Front and rear drivers side windows rub the roof weather stripping when opening the doors. Looks like 1/4" of overlap.
  • Drivers side window rattles when it is down a couple of inches at highway speed.

Maybe make sure your door is mounted right. They do come off and maybe it didnt get seated correctly.

The hinges are tight, etc. Note: In addition to the door not closing properly, there is a sound of the window rattling in the frame with the window fully closed. Minor in comparison to the other problems but would have gotten move visibility when the roof is fixed.

I dont hear the sound much until I really listened to what was going on when driving, as its drowned out by the wind coming in from the roof over the passenger seat. The rattling is definitely there, and it's loud, on the same door that doesnt close properly. Sounds like it is mis-installed perhaps. The doors have never been off. (BTW, This is a hard top).

Ford has graciously replied in this thread to assist with the dealer which I will take them up on.

Oh my! I’m sure it can be adjusted correctly…
But it shouldn’t have to be, just another inconvenience.

Out of box issues are a new thing for me.

I just hope that this is not a sign of things to come.

I have my 2023 two door and my driver's door won't closed unless I slammed it

Wind noise terrible specially on the driver's side.

Took mine to the dealer and they told me that it can't be fixed and they have another one in the lot doing the same thing 🙄

How can a brand new vehicle have a problem and it can't be fixed?

I try to Installed the door sills but the door will not closed so I endup remove them.
I guess I'll be taking my bronco somewhere else and see if that's correct that the door have no way to being adjusted.
