Hey guys, been googling and can't seem to fins an answer for this question. I have a 4 door with an aftermarket dual screen system in the back for my kids. Currently they are powered by the cigarette lighter adapter in the console storage but I want to hard wire this to the interior fuse box via a fuse tap. I know there is a wire track under the driver's side door sill trim that I can get to to run this wire to where I need to but my question is, can I access that wire track via removal of a piece of trim on the B pillar and, if so, what piece of trim is that access point hidden under?

It might be helpful to add a few pictures on where you’re trying to route the wires.

You have to remove both the front and rear sill plates. That'll free up the B-pillar trim piece.

I got videos for you that you are welcome to reference.
Obviously don't need to watch the whole thing in your case, because you are not installing a sound system. So feel free to zoom around to the parts you need, watch on 2x speed while muted, whatever.

so my plan is to go underneath the drivers side seat and then into the wire channel that's under the driver's side door sill trim panel. I'm hoping that there's a hole in the b pillar at the bottom that I can route the wire through first and then into that channel.

Thanks man, I will check those vids out. Once that b pillar trim is off, is there a hole or cut out that I can route the wire thru that leads to that wire channel?

There is no cut out specifically intended for a wiring harness in the B-pillar, but there is room to work with.

Can go in via the center console as well - the center console is pretty wide open underneath, easy to pull the wire in down around the carpet or via a drilled grommet or something you could add, and that comes right out under the dash cleanly to get to the fuse box.

It's a bit more involved to get that up, but depending on how your wiring looks that's another option. The sill is really easy to get at.

Hey man, just wanted to let you know that your vids helped out alot! I was able to get my stuff wired just fine and completely hidden. And just for anyone else curious about doing this, there are 2 entry points to that wiring track under the driver's side door sill trim
