I was hoping for dual tops, sounds like a steal to me. Still gotta figure out BDSq or BL. And I do want the tray too!

With the tray being within that nebulous late availability category, and not available for 4 door painted tops due to GVWR.... it appears I'll need to pursue the tail gate from parts counter sometime in 2022 after things settle down.

Perhaps then, everyone will be vaccinated, sport games allow us to fill stadiums again, and I can really put the tailgate to good use grilling dogs, burgers, and crushing beers at Lincoln financial field stadium

Go Eagles!

does this mean if we go sasquatch and 2.7L engine, we lose the rails and hardtop due to GVWR?

(configurator hanging when i try to add the squatch to my 2.3L/7sp badlands build)

Haven't tried since the B&P update but the restriction (allegedly for GVWR, I still don't recall seeing a *definitive* statement from Ford) was with the combo of a 4-door and 2.7L engine; the 2-door with the 2.7L used to allow rails (and the bull bar and that super-duper-oh-so-heavy PPF), IIRC.

Strange - I don't see any of this on Wildtrak

I wonder if somehow the slide out tray changes the cargo volume enough that you can’t store the mod panels in the rear?

It does change it a significant amount. But that shouldn't stop them from offering it. The storing of the roof panels is a bonus feature, the way I see it.

So if we order the duel tops for our build, will ford let us decide which one we want on? I think I would like the hard top on to make it easier to get the soft top home. Unless they will ship to your home then I would go with soft top being its going to be the end of summer before we get it but should still have pretty nice weather by then up here in the PNW.

Surely the $1795 top option is MIC + soft top? It says "Dual Tops - Modular Body Color Painted Hard Top + Black Soft Top"

I figure it's like a Jeep. Hard top installed; soft top in a box in the back.
