DV8 Bumper

After seeing how great The Shark's AMB looked with his DV8 bumper, I just ordered the same OE Plus Series front bumper and the DV8 FS-15 Series rear bumper with their elite pods for the front and back. I ordered directly from DV8 and they were very helpful and gave me 10% off, so saved me a couple hundred bucks. I'll post pictures once I get everything installed.

Do any of you know of the OE Plus bumper will work with a rough country or other brand hidden winch plate?

Has anyone who installed the DV8 OE Plus bumper found a good way to mount a front license plate to it? I currently have it mounted on the bumper where the light bar goes, but I want to put in a light, and the plate would block it.

It's designed to fit on the downslope under a bumper. It looks like it might work on the OE series. If it does work, I'll get you the link for it.

It's designed to fit on the downslope under a bumper. It looks like it might work on the OE series. If it does work, I'll get you the link for it.

I don't really "need" the lightbar, but I have the space for it and a bunch of aux switches with nothing attached, so why not...I might turn it on once in a while.

I know the plate mount you mean, and yeah, it could probably work by bolting it to the spot where the DV8 logo is on the bumper. I'll check it out.

I added DV8 front and rear bumpers to my Big Bend this week. I thought about doing myself but I also added DV8 elite fog lights in the front and flush pods in the back and just wasn't comfortable trying the wiring on my own. Here are a couple pics. Really happy with how it turned out.

I installed the DV8 OE Plus FBBR-03 front bumper with the 3" pod lights on Thursday. Was a bit of a PITA and took about 3 times longer than the 1.5 hour installation time but it's an improvement over the plastic bumper. I think it's pretty good value for $899.99.

I'm glad I could be of help. My AMB OBX is being enjoyed by a new owner, at least I hope he/she is enjoying it. I've got a CO BL now which has the mod bumper. I thought the DV8 was good value.

Interesting. I'm debating between modular bumper and DV8. I'd prefer to keep my bronco more OEM but the DV8 is quite nice and easily available. Any thoughts between the two?

I liked the DV8 on my OBX and wouldn't hesitate recommending them, but ... if I could have gotten the modular bumper on the OBX I would have preferred that. Like you, I like the OEM look better. Modular bumpers back in '21 were rare as hen teeths, it was a constraint for awhile.
