Has anyone installed both the DV8 rear window molle panels AND the AAL cargo shelf? I think I can make the two work together, but wanted to see if anyone else had pulled this off.

Which Molle are you speaking on for DV8? You have their straight ones, then you have their pocket ones. I have the pocket set. These set flush to the bar, and has the small indent in the bottom, thus creating a pocket.Has anyone installed both the DV8 rear window molle panels AND the AAL cargo shelf? Interesting. So a few questions:I ended up going with Turn Offroad's Molle panels. I did have to invert one of their brackets, but the end result is absolutely fantastic. There is like 2mm of room between the AAL shelf bracket and the roll bar mount for the Turn panels, a bit tight but very strong. Also worth noting, the AAL molle solution I removed really is poorly thought out. It uses the hardtop mounting bolts instead of dedicated brackets, so should you remove your top, you have to put the bolts back in or bring your molle panels out with it. The Turn solution uses brackets into the roll bar, rear set belt mounts, and one of the 13mm bolts for the soft top mounting. I absolutely love the outcome here.

How do you get to the hardtop bolts with these installed?Which Molle are you speaking on for DV8? You have their straight ones, then you have their pocket ones. I have the pocket set. These set flush to the bar, and has the small indent in the bottom, thus creating a pocket.
I am also looking to do a shelf, I may try the Havoc one. I need to see how the AAL is set, but I do believe they can work together as well.
Pics below of how the pocket MOLLE looks installed. Hope it can help.

Those are the Hardtop bolts. They replace them. They are pretty stout. I do not have to worry about them coming loose. How do you get to the hardtop bolts with these installed?
Sorry. I mean how to you access the bolts with the molle panels installed? I actually have these same bolts. Those are the Hardtop bolts. They replace them. They are pretty stout. I do not have to worry about them coming loose.

Well that explains it. Very nice!!Ahh Like this:
I have an ArmadilloHardtop. I have GullWings.
Answers in-line above!Interesting. So a few questions:
1) Does the AAL panel or bracket fit to the end of the MOLLE panel? No. The AAL bracket wraps around the roll bar and has a bolt into the pre-threaded location. The TOR Molles use that same spot with an L bracket. The TOR bracket has enough play in it to make it work and the bolt is long enough that both brackets can use it.
2) What do the two upper bolts connect to? The TOR molle has three mounts. One is a bracket off the seat belt, one is off an L bracket on the underside of the roll bar, and the last one is a T bracket off the soft top mounting spot behind the trim panel. The upper bolts on the AAL shelf bracket are just thru bolts into nuts. There are 5 total bolts on the AAL install, one shared with the TOR bracket, the other 4 just clamp the shit out of the roll bar with thick foam in between.
3) How big is the shelf? Does it take up the entirety of the rear space? The AAL cargo shelf is nearly the same size of the load floor.
4) Can you take a pic of the OUTSIDE looking in? Or the other side of the setup? Stay tuned.
Nice solution. Any squeaks or rattles? Not bad. Not bad at all.
No squeaks at all. Tight tolerances, but there are gaps where they need to be.
