It appears so… but they also had an obsession with red back in the ‘80’s.

They did a dark red in the '13 F150 Limited and it looked great. My mom has one, even after 11 years I still like it.

Anyone ever dye their blue seats black? Hunting for a Raptor (most likely used) and I have to admit, the blue seats in photos really turns me off.

I had a brief chance to see a Raptor equipped with the blue/orange interior last night in waning light and it didn't look "that" bad. It wouldn't be my first choice and I'm not a Denver Broncos fan so...

With that said, has anyone had the leather professionally dyed black or a dark slate gray? It'd dye the orange stitching which is a shame but it'd get rid of the blue. It's fairly cost-effective vs. something like Katzkin covers.

Ultimately I think there are enough used Raptors out there that I'll be able to find the one I want with the black onyx material. If one comes along at an "I can't say no" price, and has the blue interior, I'd consider knowing I could have it professionally dyed for far less than a grand.
I might have some good news for you where you mentioned that you like the Orange stitching. I have dyed a lot of different material and I've always found that if the thread is a synthetic material (Nylon, Polyester etc) dye won't adhere to it. I don't know what kind of thread Ford used but there is a possibility that your stitching will remain unblemished.

Didn't even think of that but I think I'm just going to go for an onyx black interior. It'll just be easier and as others have said, the rest of the trim is blue.

My braptor is code orange so the color combo looks nice, I've had people compliment it at cars and coffee etc....

When I bought my Raptor this year- I found the HPR color I wanted, but it had the Blue interior. Online photos really didn't impress. The day I went to the lot to have a look, it was overcast and snowing- the colors were nearly unnoticeable in that lighting. It looked black.

I went back a week later to drive it home on a sunny day. It was slightly more blue at that point, but I liked the combination. Although the combo doesn't match the HPR very well, it even looks good with the top off, when it's most noticeable.

I have had a ton of positive comments on the interior in the 8 month I have owned it. BTW- Power seats were a must even though these have no memory...

Here is a guy using Colorbond LVP to change his corvette leather seats to a dark brown.
