They did a dark red in the '13 F150 Limited and it looked great. My mom has one, even after 11 years I still like it.It appears so… but they also had an obsession with red back in the ‘80’s.

I might have some good news for you where you mentioned that you like the Orange stitching. I have dyed a lot of different material and I've always found that if the thread is a synthetic material (Nylon, Polyester etc) dye won't adhere to it. I don't know what kind of thread Ford used but there is a possibility that your stitching will remain unblemished.Anyone ever dye their blue seats black? Hunting for a Raptor (most likely used) and I have to admit, the blue seats in photos really turns me off.
I had a brief chance to see a Raptor equipped with the blue/orange interior last night in waning light and it didn't look "that" bad. It wouldn't be my first choice and I'm not a Denver Broncos fan so...
With that said, has anyone had the leather professionally dyed black or a dark slate gray? It'd dye the orange stitching which is a shame but it'd get rid of the blue. It's fairly cost-effective vs. something like Katzkin covers.
Ultimately I think there are enough used Raptors out there that I'll be able to find the one I want with the black onyx material. If one comes along at an "I can't say no" price, and has the blue interior, I'd consider knowing I could have it professionally dyed for far less than a grand.
Here is a guy using Colorbond LVP to change his corvette leather seats to a dark brown.Anyone ever dye their blue seats black? Hunting for a Raptor (most likely used) and I have to admit, the blue seats in photos really turns me off.
