I just went to the build and price web page. The four-door Badlands leather trim with power seats shows available.

It could be a commodity constraint but who knows.

Any leather seat upgrade will include electric adjustable seats.

For 4 dr BL, B&P says leather, but nowhere does it say electric. I have read somewhere that BL and BD have washout floors without carpet so that’s why 2 or 4 door of those models don’t have electric seats. I drove a 4dr BL at my local dealer that had leather seats, carpet and power seats. But I’m thinking that was a mannequin.

This is a snapshot from my 4dr BL leather seat "built and shipped" email, sent from Ford. It clearly states 10 and 8 way power seats.

No 2-doors have power seats

No power on 2 doors due to seats sliding forward for rear seat passengers. I believe that's the reason.

I have the power operated/heated leather seats and absolutely love them. I’ve had the soft top down and the seat heaters on and it’s been perfect. The leather is almost football like, our 80 lbs golden retriever didn’t leave a mark after her first ride. I really liked the MGV, too but wanted the adjustment points that only the lth offered. And don’t forget about the rear seat cup holder

So for the 2dr I can pay $2195 and get leather manual seats. But for the 4dr it’s $2195 for leather powered seats + carpet? And the 4dr seats 5 in leather. Why are they the same price?

As someone who hates power seats, I'm very glad the 2 doors simply are not allowed to have them.

If you want power seats, you need a 4-door, and either full leather, or leather trimmed, and no washout floors.

Yep. No idea why it's the same price. 2-door also gets carpet with leather on the Badlands but that's a big no on the power seats.
