Maybe they could have used "operate the clutch" or "depress the clutch pedal" instead of engage?thanks for the replies...most everyone understood the humor in the question and I appreciate that....here are several posts from another thread that literally made me ask the question.

I obfuscated peoples info as I am not trying to rile anyone up....but there does seem to be confusion about engaging and dis-engaging a clutch.
If FoMoCo would send me my Bronco from Dirt Mountain I wouldn't have any time to be sitting here looking at posts!
