Error Code P051B Crankcase Pressure Censor

So I searched B6G (probably poorly) and did not see this exact error code being brought up that matched my situation. Forgive if I missed it somewhere. Got in Bronc this morning and immediately got the check engine light. It remained all morning until I got code read, then error code disappeared. Anyone have this issue before? I'll call dealership tomorrow to get on long waiting list for service.

It's been out for a while. I think when Ford changed the crankcase ventilation system on the 23's they had an issue with it falsely setting a DTC for pressure out of range.
But like the TSB shows, it should just be a simple reprogram.

Okay, copy. Hopefully it will be a simple re-program but I'm not holding my breathe when it comes to Ford. I'll advise once I speak to service advisor. Thx.

Called two dealerships today about this and was kinda baffled by the Service Dept's "enthusiasm" at each location and what they said. Two separate advisors indicated that the check engine light would need to be on before they saw t the vehicle. Error code would need to be visible so they could see the code in its beautiful glory. They were however, able to see remotely, that the code P051B was in fact tripped on Sunday through Ford's SKYNET terminator AI capability. Apparently my WT reaches out to Ford Cyberdyne systems when we're not hanging out cruising the mall buying lattes.

As mentioned earlier in my post, the check engine light is now off and I assume error code has been cleared. Advisor indicated that the Crankcase Pressure Sensor error code will not blow up my vehicle and the Bronc can be driven completly normally. I'll take the vehicle in for reprogramming of the PCM if it reoccurs.

FYI - big shock... No loaner/rental cars available. If they need to see the vehicle soon, they are booking for appointments almost 1 month out. When they get the vehicle in the garage, they'll need to have it 3-4 days for diagnostic testing. That's Service!
