Installed this @EZ4x4 rack last weekend.

I didn't see great pics anywhere of what this rack (the flip top rack) looked like on Broncos, so here are some pics.

- For anyone installing, instructions are...not good. You have to use a combination of the written/pdf and online videos. Neither shows all the instructions.
- Sorry not sorry EZ, I do not do blaring logos on my auto stuff (unless it's some magnet or sticker of my choice). First thing I did was mask off the logos and paint over them.

Overall, I like the look. It's not overbearing as I had imagined it before I installed it.

Looks good. Their webpage is minimal on the rack as it looks like they are focused on promoting their flip tops. They have $499 on their page but clicking the link brings you to the flip top promotion starting at $900.

Where did you get just the rack and at what price? From EZ 4x4?

I got both. If you just want the rack, go to that page but you have to click on the box I have circled below.

This really addresses my need to remove the center panel but keep it nearby, I think. If you just order the rack does it come with the hardware to slide back the center panel? I’m not worried about flipping back the fronts, as I’ll just reinstall them. Also, does this seem sturdy enough that you’d off road with the panel back?

The flipped back parts are certainly not necessary to slide back the center panel. I'm pretty sure the parts should be there to slide back the panel if you just got the rack. I might check with them first though.

I feel it would be fairly stable. On that middle section on either side are those j hook metal latches. There is a metal plate that you latch those onto once you have the panel slid back onto the rack. Watch the install video for the bronco rack on their website and you'll see what I mean.

Can anyone share pictures of how the center roof section mounts to the rack? I would love a way to carry that panel with but I'm not going to spend $500 on it if it doesn't do a great job securing the top. The video on EZ4X4's website shows a small tab sliding over?

Are the OEM panel latches and compression hook holding it on there?
Yes they are used to secure the top. I have the whole roof system, but have not installed the flip top hinges yet. I am impressed with the middle section system and how it is attached to the roof rack. It is a solid attachment and is very secure. For now I put the front two tops in the back of the Bronco and slide the middle section onto the roof rack.

Installed the rear rack today. someone asked how it clears the garage... My garage is 7' opening with the door cranked full up. With the Sasquatch I still clear with at least 2".... least I know not to lift more than 1.5" lol
Oh, someone else asked about a whistle. could only do 75 due to traffic but did not hear any
Edit - op, the logos come off with a heat gun. They are tough but work em gently and it’s golden

Anyone else have there's with the center roof 1" high in the front? I measured bottom the center roof to the seam directly below on the roof. 3" front and 2" back. There is a bracket there and directions say to mount full up... even if I lower it will only get guessing 3/16", not that much play in the bracket.
Oh, got an updated bracket, not sure if its different?

Installed today really not to hard once you figure out what part of the instructions to follow. Mostly follow the video. So many updated parts non match written instructions. The video shows the new part but not in sequence.
I needed to use 3 spacers on both sides. Adding the extra spacer while on the roof was a little hard but I got it.
Some washers was tough to figure out round side and sharp side. Hop I got them correct.

this thing is great. Love the mid section is with me at all times. Solid build holds tight. Easy on off.

I’ll be paying CLOSE attention to this thread. Got mine 2 weeks ago and waiting till the weather breaks here in the NE to install it. The rack is not really being used as load bearing but more as a spot for w/my dogs travel crate to be stored when heading to a vacation spot.
