Makes it easy to enjoy the fresh air on the fly with no concerns about storage.

Your roof set up looks amazing. I'm seriously considering getting the same one but am hesitant to have black hinges on my white roof. That got me thinking the rack would be a really good idea on its own to store the middle panel. I could remove the front panels easily enough and store them in the back of my Bronco while still gaining almost as much ease of going roofless as the whole system. Since you have the whole system, I'm curious on your thoughts of that plan?

I think that is definitely a personal preference. I actually went back & forth a bit with that same thought because the front panels are very easy to remove and place in the rear cargo area, but I decided that I wanted to be able to have the cargo space free at all times & still be able to open the entire roof up on the fly. Also, the hinges are not that visible unless you climb up there (I am 6'-3" & my Badlands is stock height with stock LT285/70R17 <33" BFGs).

I asked ez 4x4 the hinges are paintable. And you can request them to paint match. But cost as much as the hinges

I wouldn't have thought to ask them to paint match. That's good to know even if it is an expensive option. I ordered the half rack for now. Will see how it goes storing the front panels in the back. Since my rig is a '23, the rear windows pop out for added air flow. I'll try this for now and can order the front flip kit later if I decide to go all in. Thanks for the repsonses!

Installed this @EZ4x4 rack last weekend.

I didn't see great pics anywhere of what this rack (the flip top rack) looked like on Broncos, so here are some pics.

- For anyone installing, instructions are...not good. You have to use a combination of the written/pdf and online videos. Neither shows all the instructions.
- Sorry not sorry EZ, I do not do blaring logos on my auto stuff (unless it's some magnet or sticker of my choice). First thing I did was mask off the logos and paint over them.

Overall, I like the look. It's not overbearing as I had imagined it before I installed it.

Has anyone tried putting a gear box on this? If so, any recommendations?

@Dral97 Do the @EZ4X4 crossbars have T-slot rails for mounting points? I’ve been eyeing this half rack. Looks solid and functional.

On some of the online videos it shows the rack without t-slots. But EZ 4x4 seems to be constantly improving the rack as mine arrived a month ago with t-slot rails and other minor improvements. I love mine. Easy to install and very easy to use. Makes removing and storing the two rows of roof panels super easy and fast. It is so good, I am probably getting rid of my TopLift and just using the EZ 4x4 rack.

Can anyone share pictures of how the center roof section mounts to the rack? I would love a way to carry that panel with but I'm not going to spend $500 on it if it doesn't do a great job securing the top. The video on EZ4X4's website shows a small tab sliding over?
The middle panel is very secure when on the EZ 4x4 rack. I haven't taken it off road yet but have had it up to ~85mph on the Interstate with no issues or conerns. The middle panel is secured using four of the five latches that hold the panel to the Bronco when it is on the vehicle itself (vs on the EZ4x4 rack). The only way the middle panel comes off is if it wasn't secured properly. It is very solid.

I believe ez 4x4 continue to improve parts. For the rack. The video had different parts then what I got. I absolutely live this thing.

Me too. The online videos were kind of helpful but were obviously out-of-date as were the online installation instructions. The paper instructions that came in the box were the best option but even those were not 100% up-to-date. In spite of that, the installation wasn't hard to figure out. Watch the online video to get an idea of what you are doing then rely on the instructions in the box. So worth it. Great product.
