They are nearly 1300 bucks on warn website and that’s just the winch. Still needs to mount to the bumper. It does still seem like a steep adder for a winch and a bracket
I was commenting on the expensive wench, not winch.

For more economical winches, no not wenchs, here is more.

I believe the HF extended warranty is like 10% of the purchase price for 3 years. If you look at the Warn Evo and Smittybilt X2O series they are more reasonably priced, they are only $100 - $200 more than HF.

I think Ford is still trying to figure it out themselves.

Just remember one rule:

"No Bronco models, options, packages, accessories, interiors, colors, features or functions should be confused with what you may or maynot be able to actually buy, eventually."

Do not pay $2500 for something that aftermarket will take care of you for half that at most. The Warn Evo 8S is only $600 and would be more than capable. Somebody will make an aftermarket mounting bracket and nose bar and I doubt you’ll spend more than $1000 with that wench.
I remember the good old days when a hard working wench only cost a grand.

I am going to add some photos directly off my computer screen, from B&P to clarify. This shows up where you select the winch (see right side "+":

When you add the winch by clicking on the "+", then it adds the winch to your build (the colored photo), the "new style" shows on the Bronco: (these are photos directly off my computer screen in B&P)

This photo shows the screen after selection: on the left (on the build) you see the nice mount. To the right at the selection point...the cheap "crappy" mount. So like I said...WHICH ONE DO WE GET??????? Will a DEALER OR BRONCO SPECIALIST here find out for us? If you can't tell, I am a little frustrated, we order in about 3 weeks....I want to order this but need to know what I am getting. I will gladly pay $2500 for the winch and new style mount, not for that ugly cheapy thing. ANY help here would be appreciated.

i was watching this video from nashville early bronco from the old days at super cel east

and noticed that the warn winch displayed is loaded with synthetic rope (~ 2:55 minutes).

estaban the brand manager identifies it as the warn zeon 10S.

do we really know what the B&P is speccing out for the winch?
I believe initially there will be two options for winch. Based on the Ford parts and accessories ‘coming soon’ is the Ford performance winch, no pricing yet. Most likeLay the synthetic winch mentioned in video and not the winch that can be added currently which is the steel winch.

For those not familiar with winches.... Warn has been considered the top of the line for a very long time. There’s nothing wrong with a steel line but if I was going all out on a Warn I would get the synthetic.

A few good budget friendly winches to look into would be smittybilt & harbor freight’s badlands. Definitely do your research though and decide what’s best for you.
