First Body Color Painted Grill I've Seen (Rapid Red Bronco)

I'm all for color matched handles & mirrors, but the grill & cowl is a bit too much. It looks a bit wonky without anything to break the color up.. That's just me.

At least they are enjoying theirs, making it their own to their own taste, while many of us are just wishing.

I personally think all vehicles need some contrast going on, hence why I don’t care for body colored tops either. This one is like Rapid Red overload to me.

Not for me, but I'd like to see the other colors done like this...perhaps it just doesn't "look right" on a red vehicle

A local dealer had a rapid red mannequin and it looked so good I promptly change my order to it. This almost makes me want to change it back to my original color, so no.

One thing to remember is paint on metal vs plastic usually has a slight variation. Even in today’s modern world of paints. Not a huge fan I prefer the plastic especially from a longevity standpoint.

Also it gives me a 90's monochrome "I painted my Ford F'kn Ranger grille myself in the shed with a Dollar General spray can, beeches!" vibe.

Not to mention it doesn't exactly match. In that lighting anyway.
Direct-on at the hood looks like a match, but at the edges where it meets the fender it looks about 2 shades darker.

Not knocking it, at least someone tried it.

I have to be careful these days and give props or I'll be made fun of for pretending to be a "paint expert" or something hurtful.

I like it but not necessarily in red. VB may be a better option. I do like the cowl and door handles and mirrors though. Should have painted the flares. Would be better with a chrome grille instead of "I'm too cheap for paint black plastic". For offroading I would like 2 sets of flares one painted and one not. But I like the cowl for sure.

Yeah - I probably would've opted for body color "BRONCO" and leave the grill contrasting gray or black.

Badlands based on the orange trim in the grab handle.

Would love to see a grill in white like the original Bronco, along with white fender flares and white top.
