Im back and forth on the top. To much gloss going around if I go mod top - grill and mirrors and emblems match

In my eyes for CG/Are 51 MIC is the better pairing - fender and bumpers have that flat finish and MIC complements overall look. What I don’t get is why make it look carbonized and not flat black MIC top like wranglers?

If I were to get any other color black mod top for sure.

Still holding for black leather seats.

How do you feel about there being no washout flooring? That’s really the only thing keeping me from possibly switching to FE. If I do switch, I’m definitely getting the lightning blue with the black interior and black mod top but in a two door.
Great question. Biggest regret on going FE, I feel the floor liners are going to work just fine because I can pull and clean them just as easy as the wash out floors. I have owned convertibles and if it is a light to medium rain the interior really does not get that wet going down the road. I plan on getting some type of cockpit cover for use if we topless for the weekend. Majority of the time we will be running the mod hard top with the front row canvas flip top.

We are going Onyx Black leather, because we like solid color seats vs. the two tone look. It is also the only interior option that is all black interior (including the dash) with gray stitching.

The Navy Pier is an option on the OBX so there will be a lot more of those than just on the FE.
agreed. This will be the most limited color way, considering the interior and exterior colors are limited to this trim line.

True. But not on the FE and certainly not on the FE with LB.
Agree, Lightning Blue will be a rare bronco. But think Navy Pier and Black interior will be a split. Most of us on the forum know about the Black interior, but alot of folks that have been ordering, don't even know about the Black option. Build and Price still shows just Navy Pier and I wouldn't count on dealers knowledge informing FE buyer. You also have many that don't want to or can't wait for the late availabilty black interior. Plus folks in the warmer climate dislike black interiors for retaining the heat. My best guess is close to 50% Navy Pier and 50% Black. Personally I'm giving LB over Black interior just because I like the way it looks.

after years of weathertech floor liners, Ive concluded that rubber becomes irreversible stained. salt, dirt, and it just sort of dries out, and oil leaves marks on it.

I would rather be able to take it out and use a pressure washer on them, and to know that 5-10 years, the carpet underneath is still looking good.

If I had wash out floors, Id probably still want floor mats.
That is a really good point...I wonder how well that rubberized flooring will hold up over time. It did appeal to me at first and I seriously considered changing to a Badlands for it and the MGV...but I decided that weathertech floor mats will work fine and I can always throw some seat covers on if I know I'll be getting dirty.

I’ve been absent from the forums for several months and haven’t followed the bronco very much. I’m on the fence about placing an order. I reserved a first edition. I have questions.

How much is the deposit and is it refundable if I decide not to buy it down the road?

black interior is now an option correct?

are we actually getting them first? I would be looking at the four door.

what top options will cause delays in receiving them first?

the reason I’m undecided is I have a model 3 which I love. I live in nc so it’s a hot climate for 5-6 months and I’m not sure I would take the tops off during that time. I’ve never off roaded before but it does interest me. However I have two in car seats so my time is limited now. It’s not the primary hauling vehicle, we have an odyssey for that. My car can be just about whatever I want. I love my model 3 because of how fast it is and not getting gas has been nice. Basically I’m thinking about ordering to give me time to decide. I just don’t want to lose money if I walk. The dealer won’t have any issues selling it. I wanted to ask here first before contacting the dealer. They emailed me to place an order.

How much is the deposit and is it refundable if I decide not to buy it down the road? I would ask your dealer in deposit requirements- I’ve seen $500-$1000 fully refundable

black interior is now an option correct? Yes late availability

are we actually getting them first? I would be looking at the four door. Depend on your build- black leather and black mod top late availability

what top options will cause delays in receiving them first? As of now Mod black but things can change

Order in. I got confirmation within half an hour.

It was between A51 and LB. I already have another car in something similar to LB, so I went with A51.

I prefer metallic, but I have always had something for Grayish Blue auto colors.

I almost went with Navy Pier on the interior with the intent of painting the top white, doing something with the black body graphics, and replacing the wheels with something silver instead of all black...just to try to give it a more old school look.

The black interior being unique to the FE is what did it for me...so instead of all those changes, it's going to be A51 and keeping everything else black black black (modular black top). Something with the area51 and everything else black just gets me...ain't gonna lie though...I keep getting LB thoughts creeping in my brain, but then I just look at the screenshots of in the wild A51s and it's all good.

I went with the keypad. Dealer thinks it'll be on door (so 90's looking), but I figure function over form in this case haha. Plus they said it should be hardwired instead of the battery ones. I prefer factory installed hardwired. Plus, I figure I can always get a new driver side door (even with the body treatment replicated) without it if it bothers me that much, but it's harder to get one installed later.

The only think I'm thinkin' of is those flares. If they are that grayish black material wrangler flares are made of, I'll probably either get them painted black to match the top or maybe A51 to match the body color. We'll see when I get it.

I sorta wish the door handles were black instead of body color. Maybe I'll see I can mask off the outer edges of the handles and redo 'em with black.

Order confirmed today! Actually got my confirmation before I left the dealer.

I went with LB, black seats, and SB mod top. All late availability, but I waited this long... Also got the engine block heater, even though I live in FL. I figure, it's easier to have it installed at the factory, even if I never use it.

I was looking at block heaters today before I went to the dealer to see if I wanted it. I ended up not going with it. I have a garage and it doesn't get that cold here often...although it is 27 degrees out today. Oof.

I figure if it moves somewhere north after I have it, the next owner can deal with it.

And I was surprised at all the different types of engine heaters they have. I had no idea.

I think I went through this when I got my wrangler...it was the only option I didn't get on that and it's the only option I didn't get on my Bronco. heh. (Ok, lie I didn't get the wheel locks either).

B&P has been updated to include the Black Interior option. It shows them as leather-trimmed/vinyl seats...not sure if that is accurate...thought I read they would be all leather.

Doesn't look like it's there for the 2dr yet.

Great catch!

Exterior pics appear ghosted now as well, at least as I try to view the B & P on chrome. Realistic updates to colors coming??

It is definitely still a work in progress.

I wonder if the vinyl portions will be a bit more durable. I have a Wrangler 75A that has leather trimmed cloth seats (pic blow). I have around 40k on it and the leather on the driver seat is already looking a bit worn.
