I wish i wanted a different color as much as i want lightining blue so i could drop down a couple notches.
I started looking at OBX and BL again last night. Trying to convince myself i could go with high package, and mgv or even cloth. But in the end its my dream car.. time to go big!

Yah I talked to a few people about it. I feel if I'm getting the at least semi-exclusive interior, might as well get the exclusive exterior color.

I think I'm switching from A51 to LB. If A51 was metallic this would likely not even be a thing.

Well, looks like my Bronco will almost match my Bimmer.

Ooof, that's not good. I thought this should be more of an orange metallic color. I hate how these websites don't even get close to the real color.

I remember when Jeep JL was released...I was all about the ocean blue color. I was all in. Then I saw one irl and was like..uh, yeah, that's dark purple. k no thx.

I am going with the navy. A big fan of the color blue, looks like it will go nicely with the LB exterior, and being in the hot south, a solid black interior just gets too hot for me.

Glad to see there is at least one other choice for folks, but I for one am quite content with the navy interior.

This. LB with Navy Pier isn't that bad. Black seats in a convertible in the south is no bueno.

Both my wife and I have reservations for the FE. We are getting 1 for sure and deciding on whether we want the second one or a house to live in.

Ford has stated all FEs are MY21 so they're definitely getting some extra attention.

Can you share a link with this info? I'm going back and forth with my dealer today and neither of us is 100% sure you can't have a MY22 FE, especially if you wait for the painted top. Would really appreciate some closure on this so I can make up my mind and move on.

People sleep in their overland rigs without issue. Seems obvious ?

From my understanding all FE orders will be delivered August or September. I'm pretty certain they aren't going to have a FE that is MY22. Hence FE 2021

B&P has been updated to include the Black Interior option. It shows them as leather-trimmed/vinyl seats...not sure if that is accurate...thought I read they would be all leather.

Doesn't look like it's there for the 2dr yet.

That's always been the case. Most if not all of Ford's "leather" options are leather trimmed vinyl.

Sorry if this has been asked but I'm sitting down with my dealer for my FE order today. I want to get it as soon as possible so I am forgoing anything not available because of late availabilities such as the top. The build site is now showing the black interior which is my preference but does anyone know how much a delay this is causing? Ford didn't mention a timeline in their email on it.

The email from Ford specifically says late summer. That means all they have to do is move one unit by the end of September and they've "technically" hit their target. Expect significant delays.

Being that you have an FE reservation you should probably order exactly what you want regardless of wait time. You will not get another opportunity for the FE of your dreams IMO.

Select black interior on FE in the B&P and the exterior pics are ghosted. Finally updating those pics? This whole time they have been showing Navy Pier but with those god awful orange accents.

Maybe, eventually, the pics will be accurate.

Also, still when you select mod top, NO top is displayed on the exterior pics. Rock Stars!

And if you scroll down and click on soft bimini top, it changes the pic to a hard top with the roof rails. So derpy.

Looks like Ford needs teh new webmaster/designer.
