That would not speed anything up. The plan has always been to build out FE through the entire model year, well before the MIC top was known to be as constrained as it is.

The email said production runs through the beginning of December. I bet there will be some ‘21s being delivered in ‘22

So I’m glad they are confirm we’ll still get our FE’s this year, but getting a MY21 delivered in December (or even Q4) seems like a kick in the nuts.

So my other thought - if they are having so many damn problems getting these MIC tops pumped out are we going to end up seeing all kinds of quality issues with the ones they do manage to produce? Hope not.

Couldn’t agree more. This issue I have is paying sticker price for a model year old vehicle.

I agree but it would be almost impossible for them to build all of them in the beginning. Ford doesn’t stockpile parts, they do just in time manufacturing.

Ford created this mess, doubled FE availability, offered shitty interior, redid the MiC color.

I probably was in the extra 3500. I always took the stance they should of never doubled it, even if that meant I would lose my FE. Now their giving out canceled FE res to dealers which is gonna screw a non FE holder out of a 21. No numbered badges like they said. I can’t think of one thing they said they didn’t back pedal on.

I think it’s funny that Ford addressed me (us) as “First Edition Owners”. I don’t own s#!+! My driveway is void of anything that resembles a two door LB black interior First Edition Bronco. Send me some real information (anything) about the truck I ordered and maybe I’ll think differently.
