Estaban and Tim were on a video conference call and reiterated that 2022 year will start building in December. And everything already scheduled and all FE’s will be built before then. So we should be in our rides by Christmas.

Unless you're me, and have a 2 month shipping time. Yay for Alaska only technically being part of the U.S.

Great news for me is that I might be moving before I can take delivery of my Bronco....

Dealership says I cant change delivery destination from their dealership so Ill have to pay to ship my undelivered Bronco to my new State.

that or restart the entire ordering process and basically leave my FE for the dealership to Charge 110K for.

What the actual F**K.

So, I order an FE, and now youre going to hold it hostage AFTER A YR of you guys not being able to get your shit together?!?!?!? UNLESS I PAY TO SHIP SOMETHING AWAY FROM A PLACE YOU HAVENT EVEN SHIPPED IT TO!

The dealer can absolutely setup a courtesy delivery to a local dealership. Happens all the time. This dealer either doesn’t know that, or more likely hopes you abandon the order so they can auction it off. I would talk to a local dealership in the new state, call Ford customer support, and contact Levine about it if necessary.

Let's say your FE is built in late November. At that point the MY 22 builds are just around the corner. Obviously depends on when you get a VIN. We of course don't have enough information as to what might be different with the '22s - maybe some new colors, a Heritage package, a roof rack, etc. And who knows how far behind this whole MIC issue puts roofs. I imagine if any FE order holders deferred to MY22 they would be close to the front of the line (although that could be a total crapshoot.) Are you tempted at that point? I can kind of smell that Everglades Green.

I don’t think we can change our orders. I tried to change colors and was told my order is locked.

Less than 4,500 of the 7000 reservations converted to orders. There were some added for celebrities/VIPs so I dont know the exact number to be built, but 4,500 is a good estimate to go with for now.
Where did you get this info out lease provide link please

All FE are P1 or P2 right now. Dealer can’t change anything. They have locked us in. Unless they decide to put us back in the order bank no changes are possible.

It sure is a shitty situation. I can’t say that I’m surprised. All the hints were there that this would happen. What irritates me is soft top orders get a pass and we don’t have the option to switch to it. I wouldn’t, but I know someone else waiting for their FE would. Once they get a grasp on how many tops can be made they’ll develop a plan to clear the yards and build the remaining first editions.
It sucks ass that we can’t get ours now with the effen soft top. My original order was dual tops. Few weeks later had to drop the dual tops and go with MIC only. For fks sake, give those of us that wanted dual tops the option again delivered with the wavy window soft top followed by MIC top by end of year?

if you guys remember, we were supposed to get exclusive interior…..that turned out to be the Outer Banks interior followed by black. We were also supposed to get ours first…yes FIRST! WHAT THE EVER LIVING FK!!! What if….let’s just say…what if in the beginning Ford said we can send out FE’s with soft tops followed by hard top dealer delivery later on….who would have opted for the dual tops?

I‘d venture to guess a big number of us FE orders have been waiting 26 years for the Bronco to come back. Weathering the big tease in the mid 2000‘s of re-emergacne, followed by another 16+ yrs. Thats why we jumped on the first opportunity by reserving a FE. We got the shaft…no lube…all dry!

oh well, I’m still going to wait…just need some time to heal so I can be ready to be fk’d again. THANK YOU FORD, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!

on top of everything….my build date “was” tomorrow.👉🏻👊🏻💦

I didn't listen to the entire call, but when I did I heard Tim say that 2021 builds will go to the end of December and some would be delivered in Q1 2022. I'm not sure if it is semantics and they could run 2021 FE's on the line until Dec 31st to be delivered in Q1 while simultaneously running the line earlier in Dec for other 2022 builds.
