First three oil changes covered by Ford?

When picking up my 2022 WikdTrak, the dealer told me that my first 3 oil changes would be free to me from any Ford dealer. This is the first I have ever heard of this. I also didn’t see any documentation stating it. Has anyone else been told this? I’m just wondering if it is real. I know that Jeep does this, but has never heard that ford did it.

Its probably dealer specific. My dealer is doing free lifetime oil changes for any new or used vehicle purchased there

Is this related to the 42,000 in points you get for buying? Ford likes to say that that is enough points for 3 oil and filter changes.

I’m not sure. Maybe that’s what they meant.

Depends on the dealer, but the 42,000 points could work out to 3 oil changes. If you shop around, they could work out to more.

Just be glad your dealer mentioned oil changes. My dealer’s service department never answered the phone. They had no service advisors in the bay and never invited me to get my car serviced there. I guess it’s some exclusive club to which I’m not invited.

I was told the same with mine when taking delivery in October. I was pleased to hear that but later saw they had deducted 42k from my Pass account. Appears to be a common practice across dealerships.
