That would be my preferred model as well. The bronco R looks pretty sweet with a fixed roof. Itā€™s too hot most of the year where I live to even take the top off. Iā€™d rather have a quieter cabin with a roof that wonā€™t possibly leak. The Everest fills that spot pretty nicely, however I donā€™t see it coming to the US.

FWIW, My 2016 JKU hard top with removable Freedom panels leaked from day 1:mad:. BUT, I bought the dual top option. With the ease of putting the soft top up or down anytime, anywhere we just never use the hard top. It's been sitting in my basement for 2 years now unused.

I have a LOT of Jeep friends and co-workers with Jeeps. Everyone I know of has had these leaks with their hard tops ( The Dash Pee) with the removable panels. I never had a leak with my one piece TJ hard top though. I guess it seemed like a cool idea by FCA to build them but they are a total failure when it comes to leaks. Not to mention, All Jeeps IMO just look better in a soft top. Mine doesn't leak a drop.

The hard tops look good on the Bronco, maybe Ford will build the seals right? But for me it will be soft top 95% of the time. I'll buy a hard top for the rare occasion I might want it.

Just maybe they could come out with a fixed roof and call it Bronco II... then change it to Explorer! My freakin' head hurts...

Does anyone think there will ever be a fixed top model?
