Possible to get hard tops built without sound deadening headliner?

Is it possible to get hard tops built without sound deadening headliner?

I think my salesperson pushed my order through without adding the free upgrade in error. I’m wondering if anyone has a window sticker without sound deadening listed, but the vehicle still arrived with it anyways.

I have been assured they will make things right, but I’m hoping someone has been in a similar boat and can provide some insight.

Your fears are correct. I had the headliner in my build that I sent. It was not on the window sticker and when it arrived, there was no headliner. Dealer is making it right though.

Yes. It's free for every trim. However, I'm reasonably certain some trims have it by default and you'd have to subtract it. Some don't have it by default and you have to add it.

I was expecting it, but the vehicle (Badlands, SAS) arrived without it. I rode in my daughter’s Outer Banks which did have it, and didn’t notice much difference. Now I glad it arrived without it. Much easiest to clean and it’s not going to peal off.

I purposely removed mine from the order in anticipation of the aftermarket Hothead headliner being available. Now if that guy will only start selling them... Not sure what the holdup is.

Thanks for the replies I guess the only silver lining is I can do the Kilmat upgrade before installing the headliner. They offered to install it for me at delivery if that was the case, but I’d rather take my time and do it myself. Wasn’t planning on taking any panels off until next year, but oh well.

If you have MGV seats the headliner isn't automatically added. They would have had to manually add that for your BD.

I asked for mine to be built without it. Didn’t want an additional dog hair magnet. Thankfully, my Bronco arrived without the sound deadening headliner.

Ordered without the liner. After inspecting demos at the dealership I failed to see any benefit to having the liner.
