For those that don't tow..
Body on frame, enough clearance for tire chains, rear locker available, winch mount easily available. A SSV Expedition is $37k, a SSV Tahoe is almost $40k. An F150 with topper is $35ish with the 2.7L

A 4 Door Bronco Hardtop 2.3 Auto base is right in the ball park...

Fords are easiest for us to buy, Chevy and Ram next, Jeep is not available on contract (with our organization)

The RCMP in Canada could be buyers but I don't know if police vehicles are considered fleet or not.

They use the Fusion, Explorer, and F150. They use the Suburban and F150 in rural areas (and some Silverados) as their 4x4. I could see a Bronco fitting. Trunk space may not be enough though.

Yes they are...whether fitted w/"police package" gear from factory or not...as would be fire departments and DNR/game warden. However ford has played the rental game before to gain publicity. This happened during the Ford vs. Chevy pickup truck competitions of the 80's and 90's. Ford used rental programs to improve their sales figures and claim "best selling pickup truck". This could be an angle to get sales to top Jeep!

Hawaii alone has atleast 10,000 rental jeeps. Ford already dominates with the convertible mustang out here, a couple of shiploads of broncos would help the bottom line for sure. They turn around after just a couple years too. to get new ones again.

Most likely means rental cars, or a limited edition Fleetwood Mac trim.

So any speculations on how much the "Landslide" package will be, and how it compares to the Sasquatch?
