Yet another reason lawyers should outlawed.Some insurance companies mandate that a scrap or salvage vehicle go directly to the crusher to avoid future liability. State titling laws are so loose, it's very easy to "wash" a salvage title by transferring it though a couple states. When someone gets stuck with a unsafe or unreliable car that has been "washed", they are liable to sue the seller and anyone else with deep pockets to recoup the loss. State Farm has much deeper pockets than any previous owner of shady dealer, so they become the target. And it's cheaper to settle than defend a case. So, the path of least resistance is made sure the offending asset is destroyed and cannot be resold.

If it flooded I would assume the cardboard interior is mush - which isn’t to far from a perfectly dry top.It's a shame they would crush a perfectly mediocre hard top.
