Bronco 1975 vs. Bronco 2021

Just got my Outerbanks two weeks ago. As I was leaving my neighborhood yesterday, my neighbor drove up next to me in this 1975 Bronco (the year I was born). The ‘75 is so incredible. I had never seen it around before! QUESTION: which would you rather have - a vintage bronco — OR the 2021/22 built the way you want it. The ‘75 is so awesome. But it also has lots of limits in how it drives, functions, maintenance, etc. And let me tell you, so far the 2021 is sweet! I think it’s a tough call in my book. I know the ‘75 is worth more $$, and is much rarer. But the ‘75 seems more like a trophy to be looked at in a museum, while a ‘21 is one ready to go the distance.

21 If it’s my daily driver for sure (my Bronco is my DD). 75 is very cool, great looking, but just not as good an all around vehicle for actual use. Plus I live in MI, so I couldn’t let it out in the winter salt without being mental.

Would love the 75 as a secondary fun vehicle. Not as a daily driver. So obviously I would have a 2021 as a daily.

Yeah, my ‘21 is not Sasquatched out- I have to drive downtown for my work 2 or 3 times a week and this is my DD. Couldn’t justify it.

Well, I had a '70 and a '75. The "75 was loaded with auto trans disc brakes and a nice interior. But, the thing rattled and had wind leaks and was noisy on the freeway. It rode OK and was easy to work on which I did a lot of. Today a '75 would be a theft target. I'll take a loaded 22 any day for a DD over a '75. A '75 would be a toy and Sunday driver for me. Got to have a white painted roof on the '22 or 23.

75 for me no question. In a few years your 21 will be one of millions and the 75 will still be one in a million.

Depends, am I paying for both?
The 75 wold be amazing to have in the stable to drool all over, any 21/22 for a daily driver-cross county trip vehicle.

Why limit yourself to only one? I have a 1972 stock uncut so I Sasquatched my 21 so I can off-road it.

Sometimes you gotta make choices. Buying the ‘21 was splurgy.

For longer trips or off-roading I'd take my Basesquatch all day long over my '73.

But for cruising around town, it is tough to beat the EB with the top off, and the growl of the V8.
