Springhill area here. Any meet ups or trail rides/ groups around here or near Tampa? Been hard to find much other than an old thread about a causeway meet up. Probably does not help I refuse to have FB too

If you're looking for some trails Blackwater River WMA has some.
I've never been though...

Yeah Blackwater and Yellow River area have some pretty good trails.
Grand River Motorsports Park is always awesome as well. Just don't go alone unless you're ready for anything. Can go south quick, especially it's rained recently.

I noticed that the other day just turning around on a shoulder out here, it looked like grass but drove like swamp... I imagine the mud here is legendary.

I have KO2's on the Bronco right now, but I am thinking that I should bring my Patagonia M/Ts to off-road out here.

Oh yeah it can get super nasty, and there's several different types of mud depending on if you're near the clay or swampy areas. I'm running Patagonia XT's and let's just say they don't love the mud. I keep thinking about picking up a set of Super Swampers or something similar just for the really nasty trails. Wouldn't want to run them every day. Till then I'll just keep winching myself out...

Big difference between the XT and the MT, but that's some NASTY mud, and that's beyond what I would expect from even the Patagonia MTs.
