I saw in another thread that we should start a fly fishing thread. So here it is. I did a search and didn't find a specific thread. If there is, this thread can be merged into it by whoever does those things.

Where will you take your Bronco to fish? Since this is an open forum, please be careful in giving away those really pristine spots that need conservation.

I'll start by putting my favorite fly fishing trip out there. About 10 years ago, 2 buddies and I drove from Colorado to Wallaston Lake in Northern Saskatchewan and caught this Pike on a fly rod! Definitely a monster. We stayed at a great lodge but it is REMOTE. The last 5 hours were down a dirt road. Took over 20 hours to drive there from Denver metro. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Great catch man! Personally I fly fish for small untouched native brook trout in pa mountain runoff streams but definitely want to fly fish for pike one day.

What a beauty! I love catching small brookies on small streams w/ little pressure! It's usually really relaxing until I start snagging in every willow branch in the area trying to land a tiny caddis right next to a cut-bank with a 25 mph cross wind....

Yep, brookies on a fly. Almost nothing better.
