Where are people putting their auxiliary switch panels? I don’t have the OEM auxiliary switch and I have a soft top and the phone charging station. This leaves the options limited and my installer is having a hard time figuring out where to put it. Has anyone tried putting it in the center console? I don’t want it on top of the dash when it’s not going to be used regularly. Thanks

I’ve seen (depending on panel type and number of buttons / switches)

Under the steering wheel

Under the window switches on the center arm rest

In the center next to the USB chargers ahead of the shifter

Mounted above the visor

Bolted as an add-on panel next to the grab bar

Through/on the sunglasses holder up top

On the top of the dash near the 1/4” mount

Near the start button on the front of the dash

Do you know if Ford sells the OEM auxiliary switch? If so I’ll get that and install it where the sunglass holder is.

They do but it's somewhat involved to install. There's a thread on here where a guy did it. It requires a new harness and trim piece and a new fuse panel, and some programming, but it's definitely possible.

*edit* looks like you found the right thread.

What about just swapping out your headlight switch module for the one that has the fog light switch in it?

I think he's trying to mount a multi-switch panel, not just a single switch.

This is among the most common, and probably the easiest, but it requires a bracket (You can see it in the picture, it uses the screws that hold the grab bar in)

The one that was posted from the F150 site is also pretty common and not too hard to run either. But it does block that little tray and makes access to the USB ports a bit more difficult.

I've also seen under the steering wheel - I was afraid I would bang my leg on it all the time down there, but it's pretty common and easy to run as well:

(this isn't a bronco but shows what I mean)

I put mine up top because I didn't want it in my line of sight while driving, but that isn't an off-the-shelf panel and it required pulling apart a lot more trim.
