Footwell light bulb color change?

I would really like to have red footwell lighting. Is it as easy as buying and installing different bulbs? I currently have that bluish green footwell lighting in my 2023 Bronco.

You can replace your single-color LEDs with the multicolor variants, then enable the color selector in Sync.

Parts are FL3Z-14A328-L and FL3Z-14A328-N
You need to trim the connector on the driver's side, swap pigtails on passenger side. No modification to the vehicle wiring necessary.

The modules use LIN (i believe) for the brightness and fading, so you can't simply plug a standard LED into the factory wiring.
