I wish I could help. I asked my dealer what's next since I received a Vin and build date, but they were just shocked to find out people were getting scheduled already....

You can make changes up until the VIN gets assigned.

Yep. Order is written in stone once the VIN is given. Only mistakes on Fords side can be fixed, and that could delay your build if the fix involves an additional constraint.

Ford has said repeatedly that they are stockpiling the parts and then building batches of similar vehicles. Once your VIN is assigned, those parts are essentially pulled for your build and marked off limits. Any of the MAP employees feel free to correct me..
