Ford Extended Warranty Plans 10 Years Now ? ? ? ?

I was looking at the info on the page and see ford now going out to 10 Years /175,000 miles.

It was 8 years/150,000 miles in the past as the cap.

10 years is good with all the tech on the bronco.

My 8/100 was $1955 with a $50 deductible with first day rental, LED light, and key add ons. I purchased last January just before one of the two price increases since then. That same plan would be $2140 today, as a 10 year would be $2720. See the attached chart. Grainger is $50 less than Flood for pricing.

It would not automatically convert. I’m guessing I would have to cancel mine at the pro rated amount and buy a new plan at today’s prices. I’d probably be looking at an extra $1000 to cancel and rebuy mine. If I could do it for the $580 difference that would be ideal. I’ll probably let it ride on this Bronco and buy the 10 year on the next one (I’ll upgrade when they decide to discontinue the manual).

I dont know why but I added the 10yr 75000 mile Zurich plan at a reduced price when i got my WT. I'm guessing it was a bad move since i do have a Braptor on order and may not keep this thing that long. . Possibly I was thinking of keeping this one longer if something happened to the braptor. With the electronics I say its a good idea to have one if you plan on keeping it past the factory warranty though.
