I'm having '70s oil embargo flashbacks with the locking gas caps. Of course gas jumped up to a horrendous 50¢ a gallon which is a little different.

Thanks for the find op,got mine this weekend.
I live in the sf bay area and nothing is safe here,if they wanted the gas they would just drill the plastic tank from the bottom. This prevents tampering or vandalism not everyone likes a 4wd offroad vehicle there's alot of hate out there if you don't drive a prius or ev. I was also worried it might not clear my keypad but it's fine.

Has anyone actually had gas siphoned from their vehicle’s this century? Asking for a friend
It's actually quite common in some parts of my county.

Just locked the doors on my 22 WT, I can still press and open the fuel door.
Had a chuckle…says $12 installation fee 🤔
I think the rear cargo matt had the same installation fee when I was looking at it. I mean, I might pay $10, but no way I'd pay more! haha

Just threw mine on today as well. Seems to be made quite well - it's a 3d printed type cap. I love how it fits over the lip of the filler and doesn't mess with any of the flaps and seals.

American made & veteran owned/operated company. Money well spent, for peace of mind if anything.

My local Ford parts desk and I figured out that the Ford Acessories locking gas cap listed for late model mustangs fits all Ford capless tanks. I proved it by using it on my F150 for years, then tested it on my Bronco. In the end though I’ve decided to live without it.

Are you sure about the fitment? I saw this post over at Bronco Nation mentioning that Ford cap does not fit the Bronco:

"I ordered a locking gas cap from the Ford website, 8U5Z9C268B, but it does not fit."

Thanks Andy, Good find and fits well. Unlike the other cap on Amazon that will not let you fill because there is air between. Had to break that one off. Seller refunded me.
