Fords email stated late MY21 availability for black painted top

Do we have an option to wait until it becomes available without losing our reservation status?

yeah right. Ford's already changed their minds and said the black painted top for wild track will be a late availability option, do you really think their going to paint the fenders black when the wild tracks 1st roll off line. Not likely!

I'm interested too, i want a 2 door so I can't even option for a soft top. I'd rather take a late delivery for the modular top.

In Canada it states that it is included.

The the same document says the Hard top is supposed to be painted black , but that didn't stop Ford from changing it to MIC

according to Ford yes. According to the dealer I have my reservation with no. I spoke with my dealer and they informed me that the would not be taking orders that would delay delivery, ie any options that would require a late delivery from Ford. I was told that I could do 1 of 3 things, 1) order with the MIC top 2) change dealers 3) change models

my suggestion is that you talk to the dealer you have your reservation with.

FE reservation and definitely wondering what to do. Would love to take delivery with the soft top and get the painted top shipped when available. I would actually pay the extra shipping and handling I feel so strongly about that over the grey.

I spotted this at a Ford facility today. Thoughts? I'm personally not liking the gloss black grill and mirror caps... clashes with the fender flares. Will probably clash even more with this MIC grayish roof...

Is it just me or does Area 51 look not so good with painted black grill? Looks cheap in my opinion.

WT comes standard with Sasquatch. They won’t option the crossbars because of rollover concerns. Not that the roof rails will raise the center of gravity too high, but they have to assume a full load on the rails which could be an issue.

Is it rollover concerns or trying to keep GVW down so it can be called a mid- size SUV..... I have no idea why that matters,( mid size SUV) just what I thought I heard.

No, lights and camera come with high package. Available OBX and above.
