WT only looks good with Shadow Black, Race Red, or Silver (and maybe Antimatter Blue). The gloss mirrors can be pulled off in these finishes only IMO. The Carbonized Gray, Cactus Gray, and A51 clash too much.

Thus like FE, your selections are limited

White and gloss black go well

Carbonized Gray has looked good on the Explorers I've seen with the glass black trim. I think the A51 does as well. And white. And Velocity. The only one I'd question really would be the Cactus Gray with the gloss black and that's only because I haven't seen it.

I spotted this at a Ford facility today. Thoughts? I'm personally not liking the gloss black grill and mirror caps... clashes with the fender flares. Will probably clash even more with this MIC grayish roof...

If you do a build on the OBX, you will see that you can't have the BIG Feets package and the painted fender flares, the larger tires move you into the larger finders that don't get painted.

So I kinda hate you and kinda love you now. I reserved a Wildtrak. Hated the tan dashboard on it, but still loved the shadow black grill, mirrors, beauty rings, (and the damn roof we cant have right now). Was leaning towards the Badlands so I could get the MGV and washout floors since the Wildtrak interior was so bad but still kept thinking maybe Wildtrak. Now I can't stop looking at the flares, the side mirror mounting area, the b pillar, and everything else that's grey plastic and thinking "Damn that doesn't match at all". Badlands for me. Thanks, I hate you! lol.

according to Ford yes. According to the dealer I have my reservation with no. I spoke with my dealer and they informed me that the would not be taking orders that would delay delivery, ie any options that would require a late delivery from Ford. I was told that I could do 1 of 3 things, 1) order with the MIC top 2) change dealers 3) change models

my suggestion is that you talk to the dealer you have your reservation with.

That's BS. Sounds like they're making things up just to try to get money out of you sooner. There's no reason you can't order a vehicle even if you choose late availability options - you'd just have to wait until it can be produced to get it.
